Appointments

We realize illness can happen suddenly at any time. Consequently, we provide same day and next day appointments for ill children. The earlier you are able to call, the more choices you will have in available times. Calling at the end of the day may delay your visit until the next morning.

We are able to schedule check-ups with the doctor of your choice provided you call 4+ weeks in advance. The earlier you call in advance, the more likely you are to get the physician and time of your choice. We are able to accommodate check-ups with less notice but you may need to see an alternate doctor or alternate office.

Receptionists are available to schedule appts for you starting at 8am!

When you arrive at your appointment, please bring the following information:

Your health insurance card or the card of the person who covers the child's medical care
Any changes in personal information such as address, insurance or phone number.

Referrals

Our practice has staff specially trained in coordinating any referrals that your child's physician may order. Referral coordinators can work with your insurance company and the specialists in the community to ensure the best fit for your consultation with a specialist.

If you feel your child needs to see a specialist, please discuss it with your child's physician. If you need to speak with a referral coordinator regarding a referral that has been made by your child's physician, call the regular office number and leave a message for the referral coordinator, or e-mail our referral coordinators!

It is ultimately your responsibility to verify with your insurance that any specialist your child sees is participating with your plan. If your specific plan requires a referral, please call us as soon as possible.
